Kira Annalise
Kira Annalise
She wasn't born in some small town where everyone knows everyone else's name. She didn't grow up listening to Hank, Johnny or Merle. For Kira Annalise, hearing country music for the first time changed her life.

"I heard Willie Heath Neal play Hung it Up by Junior Brown at some dive bar in Marietta, GA and I was just blown away. I went home, learned 3 chords on the guitar and started writing songs- then I just kinda kept doing it." -Kira Annalise

Fast Forward nine years later, Kira is putting out her first full length album chock-full of heartaches, bad intentions and even one she wrote with her daughter about their Home Owners Association (I'll give you a hint, they aren't fans of the HOA). Kira's album, The Damsel, blends that old country sound with some modern elements and creates something that is unexpected and powerful.

"I set out to find my own sound with this album and I really think we did it this time, let hope everyone else loves it as much as I do" - Kira Annalise

Zaib Khan Band
Zaib Khan Band
Georgia’s own Zaib Khan returns to MadLife Stage to share his soulful originals and perform renditions of his favorite covers. With a sound reminiscent of Chris Stapleton, Amos Lee, and Sam Smith, Zaib blends the genres of soul, country, and R&B into smooth and soulful originals that invite you on his journey as a singer-songwriter.
Louisiana-born and Georgia-raised, Zaib is a rising recording and touring artist from Atlanta, where he has been performing on the city’s music scene for ten years—including stages such as MadLife, Eddie’s Attic, Smith’s Olde Bar, Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Social Club, The Vinyl, the Masquerade, and Venkman’s. Outside his native Georgia he tours regularly across the Carolinas, Tennessee, Washington, D.C., New York City where he’s played at Rockwood and The Bitter End and Los Angeles where he’s played at El Cid and The Kibitz Room.

It was in 2015 that he released his debut self-titled EP “Zaib Khan” featuring originals like “MaMa Said” and “The Wind,” for which Melissa Crissey of Be Southerly Magazine wrote: “His personal, earnest, and unapologetically simple form of storytelling carries us through six original songs that pivot between gospel, jazz, and country conventions.” A year later, in 2016, he recorded his newest single, “Is,” with Billy Joel’s former saxophonist Richie Cannata at Cove City Sound Studios in New York. In 2017, Zaib’s originals are now being spun on dozens of radio stations in the United States and Canada.

When he is not singing originals on stage, you can find Zaib performing weddings across the Southeast, private events for the Mayor of Atlanta, and on some weekends, solo sessions on his back porch beneath the Georgia pines.
Eli Ensor
Eli Ensor
Traveling the world at a young age, Eli was unaware that all he saw would lead him to seeing his dreams coming true. The talented musician and singer isn't afraid to use lyrics and beats to display raw emotions. One fond childhood memory that stuck with him was going to the Jason Mraz concert with his mom, where Christina Perry opened. The excitement, anxiousness of the crowd, and pure joy that the artists invoked, moved him. He knew then, that someday he would recreate that moment.
With supportive parents by his side, he never had to limit his passions. Eli has used that to add fuel to his drive and ambition. His grandfather told him to put his best in everything he does, and this happened to be the day before he passed away unexpectedly.
Eli made sure to never forget what he was told, and he has never stopped giving life and music his all.
"I want my music to affect people. I want it to make them happy and energetic, not sad, because I feel music should uplift," states the singer. The wisdom and insight, even at a young age, coupled with talent and a dream; has set Eli up for success. The stars are now aligned, and he's the brightest one.
